ये अभी कल की ही तो बात है , के 8 अगस्त 1997 को लाहौर (Lahore) में पाकिस्तान (Pakistan) टेलीविज़न (Television) के लिए अपन दिलकश गीत रिकॉर्ड करवाया । और हस्ते मुसकुराते हुए लंदन (London) के लिए रवाना हो गए ।
Though unbelievably, yet it appears only a matter of yesterday that on 8th of August 1997, as the "Shahenshah-e-Qawwali", the appellation, with which Hon'ble Mr. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was known in reverence, had made a tour to Pakistan in the pursuit of getting his melodious song recorded there for the purpose of its Television-telecasting there, and had made his successful return in a very gleeful set of mind with setting out on his journey to London.
और 16 अगस्त हफ्ते के रोज ये मानूस खबर सुनने को मिली के "नुसरत फ़तेह अली खान" लंदन में इंतकाल कर गए ।

नुसरत फ़तेह अली खान 1948 फैसलाबाद(Faislabaad) पाकिस्तान में पैदा हुए और अगस्त 1997 को लंदन (London) के क्रॉमवेल(Cromwell) हॉस्पिटल में इंतकाल कर गए. यु नुसरत फ़तेह अली खान ने 49 बरस (Years) की उम्र पाई.
Born on 13th of October, 1948 in Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan and after contracting hepatitis in Pakistan from the infected dialysis equipment used for his treatment for Liver and Kidney there, as reports of the doctors put it, he died of a sudden cardiac arrest at Cromwell Hospital, London on 16th of August 1997 at the age of 49.

ये 23 मार्च 1965 की बात है जब रेडियो पाकिस्तान ने जश्न-इ-बहारा के नाम से एक म्यूजिकल फेस्टिवल मुनाक्यत किया, तब बहुत से फंन्कारो के साथ-साथ एक नोजवान
"नुसरत" भी था....जिस की आवाज़ और सुरों की गले से वापिस सथिथि को देखते हुए लोग हेरान रह गए और यु उनके फन्ने सफ़र का आगाज़ हुआ , और आसिता-आसिता धीरे-धीरे
"नुसरत फ़तेह अली खान" मूसिकी में रचते बसते चले गये..
और , और फिर आया 1979 , 1979 जाने के वो बरस जब आचानक ही
"नुसरत फ़तेह अली खान" की आवाज़ ने सारी ही दुनिया की मूसिकी में हल्ल्चल पैदा कर दी...

ये आवाज़ के जादूगरी के नाम से मशहूर हुई, लोग पूजने लगे , चाहने लगे, पर्दरिस्त करने लगे खुद की तरह, पाकिस्तान के साथ-साथ दुनिया के दुसरे मुबालिक भी फ्रंच,इंग्लैंड,जापान, अमेरिका , इंडिया में तो "नुसरत फ़तेह अली खान" के कर्ज़दार मुन्ज्दर थे ही ये के कब हमारे दरम्यान होगे ये...
और फिर एक-एक लमह बे-चैनी , बे-करारी में गुजरने लगा, दिल ढूढने लगा , आखे तलाश करने लगी....
"निगाहे ढूड रही है , तुजी को ए "नुसरत"
के अब तो वक़्त गुजरता नहीं , बिना तेरे"

ये सोचने की बात है , के पाकिस्तान के शहर "फैसलाबाद" में पैदा होने वाले एक शकश ने अपने फन और आवाज़ के जरिए पूरी दुनिया को अपना गर्वीदा कैसे कर लिया...
ये मुसिकी की तालीम इन्होने अपने वालिद "फ़तेह अली खान" और चाचा "मुबारक अली खान" से हासिल की, इन के वालिद और चाचा अपने वक़्त के मकबूल कावाल और मुसिकी के उस्तादों में जाने जाते थे...
यु "नुसरत फ़तेह अली खान" अपने चाचा के साथ कावाल फन का परचार करने लगे..
"नुसरत फ़तेह अली खान" कहते थे मुझे करूज और सोह्रत दरगाहो और मजह्रो की खाक छानने से नसीब हुई , और सिर्फ दरगाहो और मजह्रो में जो क़वालिया गाई जाती थी अब पूरी दुनियां उन क़वालिया की दीवानी है , उन नामो की दीवानी जिन का नाम मैं सारी ज़िन्दगी पुकार-पुकार लेता रहा हूँ
अब तो "नुसरत फ़तेह अली खान" का फन उन का नाम पाकिस्तान से ले कर हॉलीवुड तक सोह्रत और मक्मुलित की दलील से जाना जाता है
क्या आप जानते है के आप के "नुसरत फ़तेह अली खान" एक अमेरिकन यूनिवर्सिटी में म्यूजिक के एजाती प्रोफेसर थे ...और अक्सर वहा मुसिकी की तालीम दिया करते थे
जापान , अमेरिका , हिंदुस्तान और इंग्लैंड में तलवान "नुसरत फ़तेह अली खान" के फन और उन की सख्श्य्त पर डॉक्टर की डिग्री हासिल कर रहे है....
क्या आप जानते है के आप के "नुसरत फ़तेह अली खान" ने राग और रागनिया भी इजात की, और जापान में "नुसरत फ़तेह अली खान" की इजात की हुई रागनिया और रागों पर साइंटिस्ट ताजुराब्गात (रिसर्च) कर रहे है

लेकिन , लेकिन "खान साब" की मौत के साथ ही ये सब बाते ख़ामो ख्याल लगने लगी , "खुशिया ग़मो की तारीख चादर उड़ के सो गई....
